Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING
We currently offer shipping within the United Kingdom, European Union and the United States. Shipping rates will be automatically calculated at checkout, depending on the shipping country specified.
Shipping times are estimated as follows:
STANDARD: UK within 2-4 business days, European Union within 2-11 business days and United States 3-17 days.
EXPRESS: UK within 1-3 days
Please note that the shipping times are indicative and are based on time from dispatch.
In addition please bare in mind that for pre-order products, as depicted in Section 5 of the Terms & Conditions (https://laurapitharas.com/pages/terms-conditions), dispatch times are from 4-10 weeks from point of purchase and the shipping times indicated above are in addition to the dispatch time for pre-order products.
Once shipped, you will receive an email confirming dispatch of your order and providing a tracking number from our delivery partners.
We hope to be able to offer Worldwide shipping in the future but in the meantime if the required destination country is not listed in the shipping options, please email us at shop@laurapitharas.com with detail on your order requirements and we will endeavour to accommodate your shipping destination. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we can ship to any destinations not listed at the checkout.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
Every purchase will be insured from the time it is dispatched from our distribution centre to the point it is delivered to you.
All orders will require a signature on receipt to confirm a successful delivery. Once your item is delivered and signed for, the responsibility of these goods is passed to the customer.
Where a delivery address has been provided for a shared building, LAURA PITHARAS is not liable for any lost or missing order signed for within these premises.
TAXES AND DUTIES
For all international orders, UK VAT will be deducted at checkout.
You will be required to pay local import duties and taxes. Please ensure you understand the fees applicable in your country to receive the items ordered. It will be your responsibility to pay any import duties and taxes on arrival of the goods in your destination country and the process may cause additional delay.
RETURNS
We hope that you are happy with your purchase from LAURA PITHARAS, but if you’re not satisfied with your items, we offer up to 14 days for you to arrange a return.
All items should be returned new, unused, in the original packaging, with all LAURA PITHARAS tags still attached. The cost of the return will be covered by the customer.
Any items that are returned to us in a less than perfect condition may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
Faulty items are where purchased goods are received by the customer either damaged or if a fault occurs within a reasonable timeframe after purchase, without visible excessive use or mishandling. If the item meets the criteria of faulty, then it can be returned in the condition that the fault was identified.
Damage due to wear and tear or as a result of applying cleaning methods not set out on the care label, are not considered faulty.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
To arrange your return, please contact us at shop@laurapitharas.com stating your order number so that we can discuss the circumstances of the return with you and if applicable accept the return request and provide you with the details for the return destination.
Please note, items should not be returned to us without prior acceptance. Items returned to us without prior acceptance may not be refunded and unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.
REFUNDS
All successfully returned items will be credited to the payment method used when placing the order, less any shipping costs, international import taxes or duties.
Please note that shipping costs will be refunded for items that were delivered in a faulty condition to the customer.
As the responsibility for local import duties and tax lie with the customer, LAURA PITHARAS are unable to refund any charges incurred upon delivery of the order.
LATE RETURNS
Items must be returned to the address provided by LAURA PITHARAS within 14 days of receipt of goods. Returns received after this period will not be accepted unless LAURA PITHARAS has confirmed by email that an exception is applicable.
